Résumé 

Le texte poétique (le poème) représente un champ d’étude et d’intérêt de plusieurs chercheurs de divers domaines. Cet article s’intéresse à l’enseignement/apprentissage du texte poétique en troisième année du cycle secondaire collégial dans le manuel « passerelle ». L’attention est apportée à la place et l’utilité du texte poétique en classe de FLE. En effet, en utilisant la littérature dans l’enseignement de la langue étrangère on peut faire connaître la culture de la langue cible. Pour l’approprier, En classe de langue, il est donc possible de profiter de différents genres littéraires comme un matériel didactique et la poésie est l’un des documents authentiques utilisables de manières différentes dans l’enseignement de français langue étrangère. Puisqu’il est peu présenté et non problématisé, cet article vise à revoir la forme poétique, sa fonction et sa place au cœur des programmes méritent d’être réévaluées afin de mieux réfléchir à sa didactisation.

The Poem in Textbooks: The Case of the Third-Year Textbook for the Middle School – Passerelle

Abstract

The poetic text (the poem) represents a field of study and interest for several researchers in various fields. This article focuses on the teaching/learning of poetic text in the third year of secondary school through ” Passerelle ” textbook. Attention is paid to the place and usefulness of poetic text in the FLE classroom. Indeed, by using literature in foreign language teaching, we can promote awareness of the culture of the target language. To appropriate it, in language classes, it is therefore possible to take advantage of different literary genres as teaching material, and poetry is one of the authentic documents that can be used in different ways in the teaching of French as a foreign language. Since it is rarely presented and not problematized, this article aims to review the poetic form; its function and place at the heart of the curriculum deserve to be reevaluated in order to better reflect on its teaching.
