Abstract:

The study aimed to identify the interaction of researchers with the methods of prevention of the Crona virus through the newspapers channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and the channel ‘France24 Arabia’, The descriptive method was used in sample scanning as a data collection tool, The field sample consisted of (400) individuals, studying from Cairo and Minya universities who were followers of the krona virus prevention methods through the newspapers of the Channel “Kingdom of Jordan” and ‘France24 Arabia’, Results show the existence of statistical differences between the methods of prevention of the Crohn’s virus on the pages of the channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan, France24’ Arabic channel, and in the direction of the page of the Channel France24 ‘Arabic’, and the value of (t) = (4.21**), which is a function at a level (0.01).

Introduced:

Interactive has become an important feature of modern media and communication, especially interactive news pages on Facebook, as it is an important medium in the spread of media material, It is a pattern of interaction among social media users, particularly interaction with the methods of prevention of the Crona virus in the newspapers of the Channel “Kingdom of Jordan” and ‘France24 Arabic’, Digital media is the ideal way to produce and make audio and video news through interactive media, It has enabled media professionals to transmit live events by voice and image as soon as they occur to the world, and in light of the above, the study will look for: University youth interact with crohn’s virus prevention methods via Facebook.

Previous Studies:

The researchers’ use of mechanisms to interact with the methods of prevention of the Crona virus was received in the newspapers of the channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and the channel ‘France24 Arabic’ on several levels, As part of previous studies on the subject under the theme of studies linked to Facebook, the following is a presentation of previous studies:

  • First: Studies on the Interactive ‘Facebook’:

Khaled Mostafa’s study (2019). To monitor the forms of interaction of the public with the official pages of Egyptian satellite channels via ‘Facebook’ and their implications for building its agenda, and to identify the most prominent issues raised by the public, and found: The audience’s admiration was the first in the forms of interaction with the issues studied on the pages of the programs ‘Paper and Pen, Hamza’ via Facebook (65.5%) ([1]).

In the same context, she sought to study the Areen Al-Zou’bi (2019). To know the priorities of news in Arabic-speaking news sites as reflected in facebook pages, and the presence of: The contents of political news dominated the list of news content on Arabic-speaking news sites as reflected in Facebook pages (20.8%) ([2]).

The study of Nicholas, Jennings, Kevin (2019).  aimed to know the public’s use of ‘Facebook’ to access political news as a viable source of political information, and found that half of internet users depend on Facebook to check political news and to have access to information ([3]).

The study also sought by Jesu Kim, Seth C. Lewis and Brendan Watson (2018). To learn to explore the perceptions of commentators about imagined audiences to comment on news organizations’ websites and Facebook, and found: Facebook news commentators, for example, have not seen their audiences be more rational, intelligent, responsive, or less aggressive than commentators on news organizations’ websites ([4]).

Comments on Previous Studies:

  • Previous studies have shown that Arab and foreign schools are interested in social media interaction as a means of allowing the user to interact with media content that includes different topics and issues,It is a property of both means and used, including the study of Khaled Mostafa (2019), Arin Al Zoghbi (2019), Nicholas Jennings, Kevin (2019), Jesu Kim, Seth C. Lewis and Brendan R. Watson (2018).
  • The difference of the two schools: previous studies have been varied in their methodological procedures in terms of importance, objectives, sample, curriculum and tools used to collect information and results; Whose results formed the scientific basis on which the study was based with an attempt to build on it to provide a scientific addition, as it benefited from its reading mainly in comparing its results with the results of the current study, The researchers helped to crystallize the problem of the study and its variables and limits, determine its duties and choose its methodology, research tools and theoretical framework, which helps to reach the best results, The theoretical frameworks of previous studies commented in the current study are related: The extent to which university youth interact with the methods of prevention of the Crona virus in the newspapers of the channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and ‘France24 Arabic’, This gave an objective and important research dimension in examining the differences between the interactions of researchers with the methods of prevention of the Crona virus in the newspapers of the Channel of the Kingdom of Jordan and France24 Arabic, To find out the relationship between the researchers’ follow-up to the methods of prevention of the Crona virus in the newspapers of the channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and the channel ‘France24 Arabic’, and the degree of utilization of it, To find out how user feedback is to topics of interest.

The Study Problem:

From a review of previous studies, interactive facebook news pages are of particular importance to their employees, on which the public relies on information and news related to the prevention of the Corona virus, As the scientific literature relevant to the subject of the study confirms, In relation to the forms of interaction of the user with the methods of prevention of the Crona virus through the newspapers channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and ‘France24 Arabic’.

Therefore, the study problem is based on the following main question: What is the extent of “university youth’s interaction with corona virus prevention methods through Facebook”?, In the presence of the social audience to follow the containing interactive news pages on the network.

Accordingly, the following sub-questions have been put forward:

  • What are the differences between the forms of interaction of researchers with the methods of prevention of the Crohn’s virus in the newspapers of the Channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and ‘France24 Arabic’?
  • What is the relationship between the follow-up of the researchers to the methods of prevention of the Crohn’s virus in the newspapers of the channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and the channel ‘France24 Arabic’, and the degree of use of it?

Hypotheses of the Study:

To achieve the objectives of the study and answer its questions, the study’s assumptions were two main assumptions:

  • There are statistically significant differences between the forms of interaction of researchers with the methods of prevention of the Crohn’s virus in the newspapers of the Channel of The Kingdom of Jordan and the channel ‘France24 Arabic’.
  • There is a statistical correlation between the follow-up of the researchers to the methods of prevention of the Crona virus in the newspapers of the Channel of The Kingdom of Jordan and the channel ‘France24 Arabic’, and the degree of utilization of it.

The Significance of the Study:

  • The theoretical importance of the research is due to the focus on the interaction of university youth with the prevention methods of the Crona virus via Facebook, Being an important media outlet that contributes to informing the public about the prevention, interaction and reactions of the public to the prevention and response of the Crohn’s virus.
  • The applied importance of research stems from the use of the public news pages sample study in identifying methods of prevention of the Corona virus and the latest developments on the development and spread of the virus, In addition to learning patterns of interaction with this crisis, to reach new and innovative theories and perceptions within the framework of the relationship between the public and the new media.

Objectives of the study:

The current study seeks to identify the following goal: University youth interact with crohn’s virus prevention methods via Facebook.

The following sub-objectives emerge from this objective:

  • Identify the differences between the forms of interaction of the researchers with the methods of prevention of the Crohn’s virus in the newspapers of the channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and the channel ‘France24 Arabic’.
  • The relationship between the researchers’ follow-up to the methods of prevention of the Crona virus in the newspapers of the Channel of The Kingdom of Jordan and the channel ‘France24 Arabic’ and the degree of utilization of it.

The study sample:

The study was conducted on a sample of (400) individual students of the Universities of Cairo and Minya from the users of the pages of the channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and the channel ‘France24 Arabic’ between the ages of (18:40) years, and the reasons for the selection of the sample to:

  • The researchers chose the sample of Egyptian youth as a category and a segment that represents an active sector in the human society, In addition, young people in this period have a love of reading news related to the ways of preventing the Crohn’s virus through social media platforms.
  • There are young people with a diverse educational nature on social media sites with different age levels ‘male, female, It provides researchers with a sample that properly represents the indigenous community of young people within the community, The refore, the sample of the study was distributed equally between both ‘male and female’ among the use of the ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ channel and ‘France24 Arabic’ channel on Facebook, In order to identify the interactions of the researchers with the methods of prevention of the crohna virus sample study, When selecting the sample to be representative of males and females, the sample is characterized by demographic variables:

Table (1)

Sample description according to demographic variables

% Repetition Demographic characteristics
50% 200 Males Type
50% 200 Females
63.75% 255 18: 35 Age
36.25% 145 35: 40
68.25 % 273 Bachelor’s Educational level
31.75% 127 Postgraduate
50% 200 Cairo Geographical distribution
50% 200 Minya
37.25% 149 countryside residence
62.75% 251 Attended
100% 400                                       Total

The above table data indicates the following:

  • In terms of type: The use of the pages of the ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and ‘France24 Arabic’ pages by males and females was equal (50%), This is because both pages are an important source of public access to news related to the prevention of the Crohn’s virus in question on both pages.
  • In terms of age: The age group of the two channel supremo,’France24 Arabic’, were as follows: From (18:35) in first place (63.75%), followed by (35:40) in second place (36.25%), It is clear from the previous results: That a group of (18:35) is the younger and most likely age group to follow the methods of prevention of the Crona virus in the newspapers of the channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and ‘France24 Arabic’, This explains that the younger the age, the higher the attention and follow-up to hiv prevention methods.
  • In terms of educational level: The distribution of the study sample singles according to the level shift reflected the different educational levels at Cairo, Minya universities, Which follows the methods of prevention in the newspapers ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and ‘France24 Arabic’, which came as follows: (Bachelor) in first place (68.25%), then (postgraduate) in second place (31.75%), It is clear from the previous results: The ‘Bachelor’, postgraduate class is the most likely category to follow and interact with the methods of prevention of the Crona virus in the newspapers of the Channel “Kingdom of Jordan” and ‘France24 Arabic, The higher the follow-up, the greater the interaction.
  • In terms of geographical distribution: That the distribution of the single samples of the study according to the geographical distribution variable was equal to both the governorates of Cairo and Minya, Each of the provinces has won (50%) Of the total sample are the two newspapers of The Kingdom of Jordan and France24 Arabic.
  • In terms of accommodation: The distribution of the single samples of the study according to the change of residence for the use of the newspapers ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and ‘France24 Arabic’ were as follows:(Al-Hadr) is ranked first (62.75%), and it comes second and last (Al-Reef) with (37.25%), It is clear from the previous results: The “urban” category is the most likely to follow and interact with methods to prevent Crohna virus, This is because urban areas have a higher population density than the countryside.

The limits of the study:

  • Human frontiers: The human borders are represented by a sample of students from the universities of “Cairo” and “Minya”, who are users of the newspapers, “Kingdom of Jordan” and the channel “France24 Arabic”, between the ages of (18: 40) years, which were applied during the year 2020 AD.
  • Objectivity border: It is limited to ways to prevent Crohna virus in the newspapers of the Kingdom of Jordan channel and France24 Arabic channel on the social networking site Facebook.

Type and Methodology of Study:

This study belongs to descriptive studies, which mainly depend on using the sample survey method as a tool to obtain quantitative and qualitative data for all paragraphs of the survey sheet, The sample survey method includes collecting the data of the respondents as basic parts to know the interaction of university youth with the methods of prevention of the Crohna virus through Facebook, As the qualitative responses of the respondents depend on the interpretation of the digital results reached, because the researcher in this type of studies begins to monitor and extract the results through the data that has been accessed, We have followed this approach because it responds to the aim of the study in knowing the extent of university youth interaction with methods of preventing Crohna virus through Facebook, This is done by measuring the respondents ‘responses, the respondents’ interaction with methods of preventing Crohna virus in the pages of the study sample, Accordingly, the differences between the forms of university youth interaction with methods of prevention against the Crohna virus are inferred in the newspapers of the Kingdom of Jordan and France24 Arabic.

Study Variables:

  • Independent variable: Youth interaction.
  • Intermediate variable: Social networking sites.
  • Dependent variable: Ways to prevent Crohna virus.

The cognitive framework of the study:

Corona virus concept:

It is a large group of viruses that cause disease in animals and humans and are known as respiratory infections that range from common colds to more severe diseases such as the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)([5]).

Corona virus is the newly discovered Covid-19 disease in the Chinese city of Johann in December 2019.([6]).

Corona virus symptoms:

Scientists confirm that the symptoms of the Corona virus appear within five days on average, because its symptoms are similar to the common cold and flu, The symptoms of the Crohna virus are numerous, including:([7])

  • Fever followed by a dry cough.
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Acute pneumonia and impairment of the number of organs in the body.
  • Muscle pain.
  • A headache and a feeling of pressure.

The elderly, and people who suffer from chronic diseases such as asthma, diabetes and heart disease, are more likely to be infected with the virus.

Causes of spread of the Crohna virus:

There are many causes that cause the spread of the Crohna virus, including:([8])

  • Direct contact between people and other people infected with the virus.
  • The virus may spread through respiratory droplets when the person coughs or sneezes.
  • People come into contact with HIV-carrying surfaces and then touch their mouth, nose, or eyes.

Interacting with ways to prevent krona virus, the newspapers of the Kingdom of Jordan and France24 Arabic:

Interactivity is the extent to which organizations and news websites provide their users with interactive digital windows that allow them to communicate through forms of interaction with different topics, whether by commenting or sharing media content with friends via social media sites or participating in editing content by adding a video clip and expressing it in different ways on Site ([9]),The more interaction mechanisms are available on the site, the more interaction, dialogue and participation between the sender and the recipient about the media content ([10]).

The interaction also depends on the degree of communication between the parties to the communication process and the extent to which the audience is affected by the content of the media message ([11])

Especially the interaction with the methods of prevention of the Crohna virus in the newspapers of the Kingdom of Jordan channel and the channel France24 Arabic through Facebook.

The “Facebook” network as a media tool to present ways to prevent from the Crohna virus in the newspapers of the channel “Kingdom of Jordan” and the channel “France24 Arabic”:

“Facebook” is an important media used by TV channels to broadcast its various media contents on the network, It allows its users to obtain information and news and interact with them by commenting on them ([12]), In addition to the continuity of interaction between users and transcending time and space limits ([13]).

It is clear that the employment of the pages of the channel, “Jordan” and channel “France24 Arabic” for the “Facebook” network as a means of media in presenting methods of prevention from the Crohna virus, as follows:([14])

  • Wash hands with soap and water and use sterile gloves.
  • Use a medical mask to protect the eyes and face and avoid direct contact with infected people.
  • Avoid touching the eyes, nose, or mouth without washing your hands.
  • Work to disinfect contaminated surfaces quickly.
  • Avoid direct contact with animals.

Cleaning hands before and after contact with the patient, and after removing personal protective equipment ([15]).

Forms of interaction with prevention methods: the Krone virus, in the newspapers of the channel ‘Kingdom of Jordan’, and ‘France24 Arabic’:

There are many forms of interaction with the methods of prevention of the Crohna virus in the newspapers of the channel, “The Kingdom of Jordan” and the channel “France24 Arabic”, including:

  • Like records: It means showing admiration for the contained on the site and is available among friends, groups and channels ([16])
  • Interaction through writing comments: It is a form of interaction available on the news pages of the social networking site ‘Facebook’, where users can write ‘comments’ about issues that raise their interest and then press the inter button, and this method is also characterized by achieving the mechanism of interaction between users ([17])
  • Share :It means users’ participation in the content provided by the news pages of the social networking site ‘Facebook’ and exchange among users via e-mail or publishings on a joint group between users or another social networking site ([18]).

Validity and Reliability Procedures for the Questionnaire:

Questionnaire newspaper applied to a sample of users of the newspapers, “Kingdom of Jordan” and “France24 Arabic”, And that is in the period from 1/2/2020 AD to 3/30/2020, The apparent honesty of the questionnaire newspaper was also verified by presenting it to a group of media arbitrators, in addition to amending it according to their observations, The researcher relied on calculating the stability of the results of the questionnaire on the method of re-testing. The researcher, after collecting the data, conducted a study on (5%) of the total field study items (20) individually using ‘Cranach’s Alpha coefficient’, This indicates a high consistency between the respondents’ responses and the following table, which shows us the calculation of the value of the stability factor for the questionnaire newspaper:

Table (2)

Kronbach coefficient to measure the stability of the questionnaire sheet

Alpha Kronbach coefficient the field

The above table data indicates the following:

  • There are statistically significant differences between the forms of respondents’ interaction with methods of prevention against the Crohna virus on the pages of the “American Free” channel and France24’s “Arabic”, and in the direction of France24’s “Arabic” page, To verify the hypothesis, a T-Test was used, The value of (T) = (4.21 **), which is a function at the level of (0.01), By this we accept the assumption that: There are statistically significant differences between the forms of respondents’ interaction with methods of preventing Crohna virus on the pages of the ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ channel, and France24 ‘Arabic’, The researcher attributes this to the conscious public’s interest in following up the methods of preventing the virus further on the French page, because there is a writer who specializes in health affairs and is unedited and enjoys the confidence of followers, This is because interest in interacting with methods to prevent the Crohna virus was not equal between the two pages, and therefore there was an advantage in the respondents’ use of the forms of interaction with the benefit of the French page.
  • The second hypothesis: This hypothesis states that: There is a statistically significant correlation between the respondents’ follow-up to ways to prevent Crohna virus on the pages of the ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ channel, and France24 ‘Arabic’ and the degree of benefit from them.

Table (8)

The above table data indicates the following:

  • There is a statistically significant correlation between the respondents’ follow-up to ways to prevent Crohna virus on the pages of the ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ channel, and France24 ‘Arabic’ and the degree of benefit from them, To validate this hypothesis, the Pearson correlation coefficient was used, The value of the correlation coefficient was (0.42 **), which is a function at the level (0.01), By this we accept the assumption that: There is a statistically significant correlation between the respondents’ follow-up to ways to prevent Crohna virus on the pages of the ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ channel, and France24 ‘Arabic’ and the degree of benefit from them, This explains that the more follow-up, the greater the benefit.

The results of the study in light of the hypotheses:

After conducting the field study, we reached a set of results, the most important of which are:

  • The first hypothesis has been proven true:

The presence of a statistically significant correlation between the forms of respondents’ interaction with methods of prevention against the Crohna virus on the pages of the ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ and France24 ‘Arabic’, towards the page of France24 ‘Arabic’, To verify the hypothesis, a T-Test was used, The value of (T) = (4.21 **), which is a function at the level (0.01).

  • The second hypothesis is proven true: The presence of a statistically significant relationship between the respondents’ follow-up to methods of prevention from the Crohna virus on the pages of the ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ channel, and France24 ‘Arabic’ and the degree of benefit from them, To validate the hypothesis, the Pearson correlation coefficient was used, The correlation coefficient value was (0.42 **), which is a function at the level (0.01).

Conclusion:

  • Through this study, the researcher tried to find out the differences between the respondents’ interaction with methods of preventing Crohna virus on the pages of the ‘Kingdom of Jordan’ channel, and France24 ‘Arabic’, This is because interactive media have a great influence in shaping directions for ways to prevent the Crohna virus, so it has become necessary to pay attention to awareness of the risks of the spread of this virus, which has become a threat to the lives of peoples and societies, In order to reach innovative theories and concepts within the framework of the relationship between the public and the media, The study reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:
  • The necessity of the media organizations’ interest in conducting awareness campaigns to prevent the Crohna virus to limit the spread of the virus and to identify the extent of its danger to the lives of individuals, In addition to media work, interactive programs for sustainable health highlight the hosting of a doctor in the field of epidemics to raise awareness of the latest developments regarding the spread of the virus and ask questions about ways to prevent it.

Research proposals:

In light of the study, the researcher presents a set of proposals, namely:

  • Using social media to raise awareness of the risks of a cholera epidemic.
  • Media treatment of the economic crises caused by the spread of the Krone virus through Facebook.
